Job summary

Hornblower Group seeks experienced Ordinary Seafarers to join the deck crew on Crew Transfer Vessels servicing wind turbines along the New England and Mid-Atlantic coasts. You will transport crew, equipment, and cargo to turbines, under the Captain and Deck Officer, performing transfers and mooring duties.

Qualifications

• USCG MMC with Ordinary Seaman endorsement
• TWIC card
• STCW Basic Safety Training (Vi/1)
• STCW Seafarer with designated security duties (Vi/6)
• Valid US Passport
• Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Handle mooring lines during docking or undocking
• Assist with filling potable water and bunkering, manage waste and shore power
• Conduct at-sea personnel transfer and cargo operations
• Perform lookout duties while underway
• Participate in safety drills and training per USCG policy
• Assist with training of new crew
• Maintain vessel integrity and safety compliance
• Monitor passenger and crew safety issues on the vessel
• Report safety, operational and environmental issues promptly
• Support engineering rounds and basic repairs as directed
