Job summary

Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino in East Peoria, IL seeks a deckhand to maintain vessel cleanliness, perform seasonal maintenance, and assist in passenger safety drills. You will sweep, mop, scrub, and help keep the deck seaworthy.

Responsibilities include operating fire hose, winch, and davit; tying off lines with capstan and kevels; delivering high levels of customer service; and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Six (6) months of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to reach, grasp, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
• Must be able to operate a fire hose, winch, and davit.
• Must be able to throw and pull lines and use capstan and kevels to tie off the vessel.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
