Job summary

A leading swim school franchise in Cromwell seeks a Deck Supervisor to oversee shifts, manage on-deck instructors, and ensure a positive environment for children. Responsibilities include daily meetings, maintaining pool hygiene, and interacting with families regarding student progress. The ideal candidate has a background in swim instruction and must possess lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications. This position offers flexible hours and room for advancement in a fun work environment. Competitive pay rates range from $15 to $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two or more years as a swim instructor required.
• Experience as a youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or teacher preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned shift and supervise on-deck employees.
• Interact with students and parents/guardians.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
