Job Type: Full-timePosition Summary:The Deck and Hull Rigger is responsible for the installation and rigging of structural and functional components on the hull and deck of boats during the manufacturing process. This includes mounting cleats, railings, hatches, through-hulls, rod holders, ladders, and other hardware. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of boat construction and takes pride in precision installation and quality craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:- Install deck hardware including cleats, chocks, rails, grab handles, rod holders, cup holders, and ladders.
- Mount and seal through-hull fittings, drains, and scuppers on both the deck and hull.
- Install hatches, inspection ports, deck plates, anchor rollers, and windlass systems as per design specs.
- Drill, countersink, seal, and fasten components using appropriate marine-grade hardware and sealants.
- Route rigging for systems such as fuel fills, water fills, bilge hoses, and navigation lights.
- Ensure all installations are watertight, corrosion-resistant, and aligned to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layout diagrams, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with other departments (electrical, plumbing, engine rigging) to coordinate installations.
- Perform quality checks and make adjustments or rework as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety procedures.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED required; technical training in marine systems a plus.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fiberglass, stainless hardware, sealants, and marine adhesives.
- Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.

- Attention to detail and high standards for fit, finish, and craftsmanship.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.and working in confined or elevated areas.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Work Environment:- Boat manufacturing facility, including indoor assembly and outdoor rigging areas.
- Requires standing, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.
