Job summary

Handyman Connection of Parker is hiring experienced Craftsmen to serve the Douglas County area. If you’re skilled in carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, electrical, or general home repairs, join a growing team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

This role is an independent contractor position offering flexible schedule and competitive pay, with typical rates of $40–$60 per hour. A reliable vehicle and your own tools are required, along with a background check and liability

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in home improvement or remodeling.
• Reliable work vehicle and own tools.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Must pass a background check.
• Independent Contractor (1099) and liability insurance where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential handyman jobs and home improvements with a focus on quality and professionalism.
• Accurately estimate labor and material costs and complete jobs with customer satisfaction in mind.
• Maintain strong communication with customers, office staff, and suppliers.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Represent Handyman Connection as a trusted, courteous professional in every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Perform residential handyman jobs and home improvements with a focus on quality and professionalism
• Accurately estimate labor and material costs and complete jobs with customer satisfaction in mind

Your Skills & Experience (Must Have 3+ of the Following):

• Ability to install residential deck and associated stairs, railings and fencing;
• Installation of wood and composite products according to manufacturer's specifications;
• Jobsite cleanup with emphasis on customer satisfaction;

Not required, but nice to have:

• Carpentry (framing, trim, repairs)
• Drywall (installation, taping, patching, texturing)
• Interior & Exterior Painting
• Minor Plumbing (fixture replacement, leak repairs)
• Minor Electrical (outlet/switch replacement, fixture installs)
• General Home Repairs & Maintenance
• Remodeling Experience a big plus

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in home improvement or remodeling
• Reliable work vehicle and own tools
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Must pass a background check
• Friendly, professional, and committed to delivering a great customer experience
• Comfortable using a smartphone and accessing mobile apps
• Independent Contractor (1099) – Must carry general liability insurance (workers comp where required)
