Job summary

The Aebi Schmidt Group is hiring for an hourly, full-time decal technician in Missouri. You will apply decals to various vehicle components, prep surfaces, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Experience handling hand, air, and power tools is required.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, obtaining supplies, and supporting Lean initiatives. Benefits and a team-oriented environment are emphasized, with emphasis on accuracy and safety in every task.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior recent experience applying decals (automotive).
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and decimal points to .01 inches.
  • Must be proficient, detail oriented, and very meticulous.

What you’ll do:

SUMMARY: Apply appropriate decals to specifications, inspect and repair as needed to support the production and assembly of various components, and perform as an active member of the team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepping vehicles for decal placement
  • Applying decals to the inside and outside of painted Walk-in Van, specialty vehicles, truck bodies, etc.
  • Skilled with hand, air, and power tools
  • Obtain supplies and parts required to do the job
  • Assist other employees when decaling is not required
  • Clean department and maintain neatness in the surrounding work areas
  • Assist the team in 5S advancements
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean Principles
  • Perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards
What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or GED required. Must have prior recent experience applying decals (automotive). Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safety regulations. Ability to correctly use and read various gauges. Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment. Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Ability to read a tape measure to a sixteenth (1/16) of an inch and decimal points to .01 inches. Must be proficient, detail oriented, and very meticulous in your work. Perform as a team member which requires the ability to learn, perform and rotate to other workstations.
