Velosity Brooklyn Park

is searching for a Deburring Tech role to support our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park, MN.

The Swiss Machining Deburring Technician is responsible for setting up and operating deburring equipment to remove excess materials or burrs from surfaces on various plastics and metals, ensuring they meet established quality, efficiency guidelines, and customer specifications.

This is an on-site position.

Shift: 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm.

Pay Range: $20-$29/hour, plus a 5% quarterly bonus target.

Compensation: The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary based on market structures. Actual pay depends on skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Offers are rarely at the range extremes.

Essential Duties:

• Clean, count, and package parts per work instructions.
• Label packages accurately using scales, manual counting, and ERP system.
• Set up and operate deburring equipment per instructions and customer requirements.
• Follow production rates, document actions, and communicate across shifts.
• Report issues to supervisors.
• Inspect products for quality, using microscopes and deburring tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Experience with measuring instruments like scales and calipers
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills

Work Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, oil, and water.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
