Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Deburrer in Santa Ana, CA to deburr and inspect forged parts, removing flash and defects using surface deburring tools. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a lean production environment.

You will operate sanding and grinding tools, ensure correct part counts, and report any equipment or process issues to supervision. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized, lean work area and follow safety rules.

• Keep accurate count of parts produced.
• Collaborate with team and report equipment or facility issues to supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager.

Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Deburrer who will de-burr and inspect forged parts for any forging flash, defects, and/or excess metal from manufactured parts. They will use surface de-burring, sanding, and grinding tool to remove excess metal from manufactured parts.

Job Requirements:

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
• Use appropriate tools to remove excess metal and defects from manufactured parts, according to customer specification.
• Keep accurate count of part/work pieces.
• Work collaboratively with other employees within APP.
• Report faulty equipment or facility defect to supervisor.
• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

Skill Requirements:

Compensation:

$18.00 - $20.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
