Job summary

Custom Control Sensors in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a deburring technician for the first shift. You will perform deburring, parts cleaning, and honing in a fast-paced machine shop setting.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, ability to follow instructions in English, and reliability in meeting production standards. Exposure to vibration/tumbling equipment and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (ITAR). Verification required prior to employment.
• Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of deburring methods.
• Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently remove burrs from parts utilizing vibrating and tumbling deburring equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work with a number sequence.
• Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions.
• Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Performs regular factory work such as deburring, parts cleaning, and honing.
• Deburrs parts using vibration and tumbler deburring equipment.
• Could require operating a bandsaw
• Ensures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.
• Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work
• Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.
• Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required.
• Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner.
• Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned
