Ludlow Manufacturing in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Deburr Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Deburr Operator is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal parts while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities include deburring with hand tools and grinders, inspecting parts for defects, following drawings and quality specs, and keeping the area safe and organized.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Previous deburring, grinding, finishing, or machine-shop experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and identify part numbers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other production and material-handling duties as needed.

1st shift 5:00AM - 3:30PM M-Thurs
2nd shift 3:30PM - 2:00AMM-Thurs
Weekend 5:00AM - 5:30 PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday

What You'll Do

• Deburr and finish metal parts using hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and other equipment.
