Job summary

Dicastal North America is seeking a manufacturing associate to monitor automated deburring processes and inspect machined wheels for defects throughout the shift. You will report issues promptly to the process technician and perform any other duties as assigned to maintain production flow.

The role requires walking between machines most of the shift and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally, ensuring safe operation in a high‑temperature environment if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience in Manufacturing required.
• Walk in between machines for the majority of the shift.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for checking the result of automatic deburring processes
• Responsible for examining the appearance of machined wheels and report defects to process technician in time
• Other duties as assigned or designated

Gauging

• Use calibrated go/no-go gauge to check dimensions on a wheel.
• Decide whether wheel is in/out of tolerance.
• Visually inspect wheels.
• Rework any no conforming wheels
• Load back on conveyor

Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Some experience in Manufacturing required
• Walk in between machines for the majority of the shift
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally
