PLI Manufacturing, a company of Phoenix Defense, is seeking a Deburr Hand Finisher to support aerospace fabrication operations. The role emphasizes precise deburring, reading blueprints, and following written instructions to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, attention to detail, strong attendance, and the ability to read English instructions in a fast-paced environment. A background in aerospace deburr is preferred.

• Previous deburr or aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret aerospace blueprints is a must.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written work instructions in English.

• Quality oriented with a hands-on, do-it-right-the-first-time mindset.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.

Responsabilités

• Grind and smooth surfaces using common portable hand tools.
• Choose abrasive grade and attach to grinder according to specs.
• Replace worn abrasive disks, wheels and belts.
• Handle moderate to heavy components; stand or walk as needed.
• Follow documented steps or written instructions.
• Meet customer and internal production schedules.
• Maintain integrity in interactions across departments.
• Adhere to Employment Handbook policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are now hiring a Deburr Hand Finisher.

What You Will Do

As the Deburr Hand Finisher, responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

• Grind and smooth surfaces of items, requiring the ability to operate common portable hand tools.
• Select grade of abrasive belt, wheel or disk according to specifications, knowledge of abrasives, and condition of metal, and attach to grinder.
• Replace worn abrasive disks, wheels and belts.
• Frequent handling of moderate to heavy components; may include walking or standing most of the time.
• Follow demonstrated steps or written instructions.
• Work to meet customer and internal production schedules.
• Maintain high level of integrity dealing with all departments within the organization.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures described in Employment Handbook.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

About You
