Experis Technology Group is seeking a Debug Engineer specializing in Platform Validation & System Debug in Austin, TX. The role focuses on driving system bring-up, validation, and debug across pre- and post-silicon stages, with hands-on lab work and cross-team collaboration.

You will develop and maintain automation, analyze complex issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools, and contribute to root-cause analyses while interfacing with architecture, firmware, and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, SoC architecture, and hardware/software interactions.
• Hands-on experience with system validation, platform bring-up, and hardware debug methodologies.
• Experience with BIOS, firmware, device drivers, and Windows/Linux operating systems, including boot flows.

Responsibilities

• Drive system bring-up, validation, and debug activities from pre-silicon through post-silicon product validation.
• Develop and maintain debug automation, validation frameworks, and troubleshooting utilities using scripting and programming.
• Analyze logs, traces, telemetry, and hardware captures to identify failure mechanisms and drive corrective actions across teams.
• Lead cross-functional technical investigations and communicate findings to engineering and leadership teams.
