Global Law Firm seeks a Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate to join its New York-based finance practice and work on cross-border syndicated, leveraged, and acquisition financing transactions. The role is based in Boston, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles or D.C., with a path to advance within a premier international platform.

The ideal candidate will have a JD and U.S. bar admission, strong drafting and negotiating skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school (or equivalent legal qualification).
• Admission and good standing with a U.S. state bar (or ability to obtain admission in the applicable jurisdiction).
• 4–7 years of experience in debt finance, leveraged finance, or related banking transactions.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating: Credit agreements; Commitment papers; Financing documentation for leveraged and syndicated transactions
