Overview

• Associates will work on structuring, documentation, and negotiation of secured and unsecured financing transactions.
• The role covers a range of transaction types including senior secured, mezzanine, subordinated debt transactions, acquisition financings, and loan workouts, for both borrowers and lenders.
• Prior leveraged finance experience, particularly within mergers and acquisitions, is preferred.
• Kirkland's Debt Finance Practice primarily represents private equity funds and other corporate borrowers.
• The Debt Finance Practice is recognized by Chambers & Partners and, according to Bloomberg, Debtwire, and Refinitiv, consistently handles more U.S. borrower transactions than any other law firm.
