Job summary

Golden Gate University seeks a Dean to lead the Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation and the School of Accounting. The Dean will act as the schools' ambassador to the tax, legal, and accounting communities, guiding growth and external partnerships from a San Francisco base.

Reporting to the EVP and Provost, the Dean will drive enrollment, faculty alignment, and program development, including online offerings and certificates, while maintaining strong ties with professional firms and alumni.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in the field.
• Relevant work experience.
• CPA license or experience in an accounting firm preferred.
• Experience teaching online or via videoconference preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the schools' ambassador to the tax, legal, and accounting communities.
• Establish and lead an advisory committee with partners from Big 4 and regional firms.
• Represent the schools at ABA and CPA conferences and engage with professional members.
• Develop firm partnerships that generate staff enrollment in the programs.
• Drive enrollment growth across both schools' programs.
• Oversee course schedules and ensure faculty workload is well managed.
