Job summary

Calumet Public School District 132 is seeking a collaborative and student-centered Dean of Students to assist the Principal in maintaining a safe, positive, and academically focused learning environment. The Dean provides leadership in discipline, attendance, behavior intervention, school climate, and restorative practices while working with students, families, and staff to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Illinois Principal Endorsement or General Administrative Endorsement preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful educational experience, preferably at the middle school level.
• Knowledge of Illinois School Code, student discipline procedures, restorative practices, PBIS, and MTSS.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
