Job summary

Qualifications

• The candidate must have an earned doctorate in social work or a closely related field and be eligible for tenure at UIC.
• A national leadership record in academia with scholarly and professional achievement is required.
• Experience in senior academic administration, including personnel, budgets, planning, and governance, is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to student learning, mentoring, and an inclusive academic environment is expected.
• Experience managing complex budgets and transparent resource allocation in a constrained environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership in shared governance and excellent communication skills are required.
