Job summary

Kilgore College is seeking a Dean of Health Sciences to provide academic leadership and support to the Health Sciences division, including Nursing, Radiologic Science, Surgical Technology, and other programs.

The role oversees staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and daily functioning while promoting workforce and transfer alignment through partnerships with healthcare and educational entities. Teaching/leadership experience in higher education is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an area aligned with Health Sciences.
• Bachelor level or higher leadership/administration experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and administrative support to the Health Sciences division.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and daily division operations.
• Serve as liaison between faculty and administration and pursue grant opportunities.
