Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications for the Dean of the Herron School of Art + Design. The Dean will define the school's direction, advance academic excellence, and foster collaboration across IU campuses to strengthen programs and partnerships in downtown Indianapolis.

The successful candidate will lead fundraising, manage personnel and budgets, and create an environment where faculty, students, and staff can thrive, while guiding curricular innovation and community engagement.

Qualifications

• PhD in a field related to Herron’s studies and research, or terminal degree preferred.
• Record of scholarship and engagement in higher education or leadership roles that qualify for tenured professorship.

Responsabilités

• Define the School’s direction and priorities at the highest level.
• Collaborate with other IU Schools to form strategic partnerships.
