Job summary

Antelope Valley College seeks a Dean to provide strategic leadership for the Aerospace, Industrial Arts & Applied Technologies Division across multiple instructional sites. You will oversee program development, budgeting, enrollment, accreditation, and partnerships with industry and government to meet student and regional workforce needs.

The role requires a Master’s degree, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and collaboration with faculty and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• One year of formal leadership-related experience.
• Commitment to equity-based leadership and programming.
• Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for program development and equity-based curriculum planning.
• Oversee budget development, allocation of resources, and staffing needs.
• Coordinate program review process and scheduling across sites.
• Foster partnerships with industry, government and community partners.
• Establish advisory councils for funded programming and oversee compliance.
