Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an experienced administrator to oversee the Administration of the Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences within the Medical Center. Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or Master's degree in an appropriate discipline and currently pursuing Doctoral education.
• Minimum of ten (10) years professional experience with minimum three years teaching experience and three years management experience.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License

Responsibilities

• Approve the definition of responsibilities and authority for all personnel in each School and coordinate activities with other Medical Center departments.
• Interview prospective faculty and staff members and participate in orientation of new faculty and staff.
• Appoint faculty to Medical Center and College Committees; chair the Faculty Organization Committee; perform duties of the Chairperson, School of Nursing Faculty Organization.
• Analyze and evaluate curriculum implementation for relevance to educational theory and program objectives; guide curriculum development and evaluation.
• Prepare and administer annual budgets and prepare Annual Reports.
• Conduct ongoing oversight and adherence to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
