Reporting to the EVPAA, the Dean will champion student achievement, faculty excellence, and institutional innovation, shaping strategy and partnerships to elevate UT Dallas

Responsibilities

• Lead UT Dallas Erik Jonsson School of Engineering & Computer Science as a premier engineering and computer science powerhouse.
• Set academic and research priorities across five thematic thrusts: advanced manufacturing, energy science and technology, health innovations, semiconductor science and technology, and transportation science and engineering.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a faculty body distinguished by national academy members and top research productivity.
• Serve as chief advocate and storyteller with university leadership, industry partners, alumni, and donors to advance the school's mission.
