Job summary

PwC is seeking a Deals - FS Financial Due Diligence Manager in the United States to provide strategic advice and lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will analyze earnings quality, cash flows, and other deal-critical information while guiding teams and mentoring junior staff.

You will own projects from planning through completion, collaborate with leadership, and apply financial modeling to support client decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in deals or financial due diligence.
  • Active CPA/CFA/CA or MBA required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial due diligence workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

You will analyze financial information, focusing on quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key client deal issues. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. In this role, you will be part of our Deals practice, focusing on financial due diligence. You will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Your ability to analyze and identify linkages within complex systems will be crucial in delivering value to our clients.

What You Must Have
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • At least one of the following: an active CPA License, Certified Financial Advisor (CFA), Chartered Accountant or an MBA

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance

  • Utilizing advanced skills in mergers and acquisitions strategy
  • Excelling in financial statement analysis and review

Travel Requirements

Up to 60%

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000.

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
