Job Summary:

The Dealership Porter at Moss Motors, Inc. will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's vehicle inventory and overall dealership appearance. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role involves ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly pay ranges from $10 to $14, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings. Pay is biweekly.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the dealership lot and showroom clean and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Park vehicles according to dealership standards and ensure they are lined up properly.
• Drive vehicles to other dealership locations or customer sites as needed.
• Maintain showroom display vehicles by cleaning and adding fluids.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the service department and park them appropriately.
• Assist with snow removal during bad weather.
• Maintain a clean and debris-free service drive.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when low.
• Participate in dealership clean-up days as scheduled.
• Follow all safety and company policies, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Detail-oriented with good organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like shoveling snow or moving vehicles.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
