Job summary

North Central Ford in Richardson, TX is seeking a Lubrication Technician to perform lubrication services quickly and thoroughly, coordinating with the Production Foreman to maintain an efficient service flow.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and a willingness to learn. ASE certification or automotive tech certificate is preferred; applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment testing.

Qualifications

• Preferred ASE Certification and/or automotive tech certificate.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Inspect vehicle and refer needed repairs to Service Advisor.
• Keep customer vehicles clean and ensure equipment is in proper working order.

Job Description

The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his responsibilities through coordination with the Production Foreman.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• ASE Certification and/or automotive tech certificate.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment
• Ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates.
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test and credit report.
