Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Business Manager I to serve as a financial partner to the dealership leadership. You will oversee accounting, specialists, and cashier staff, collaborating with General Managers and the Accounting team to drive profitable store performance.

The role requires 2+ years of dealership management experience, team leadership, and strong Excel/CDK skills. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is preferred, with a valid driver's license and compliant driving record.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience as a dealership Business Manager/Controller (Required).
• Experience leading teams (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or 5 years commensurate experience (Preferred).
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• A financial partner to the dealership; develop and partner relationships with store leadership (GM, Sales and Operations) and Manufacturer Representatives.
• Ensure dealership is operating within financial guardrails and communicate risks and opportunities to operational leaders.
• Oversee financial processes to support new business plans and maximize manufacturer incentive benefits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and conduct quarterly physical inventory.
