The ideal candidate has 3+ years of painting experience, with dealership or reconditioning background, and the ability to work independently while meeting daily production goals. Compensation is competitive based on experience and skill.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive painting or refinishing experience.
• Dealership, collision repair, body shop, or reconditioning center experience preferred.
• Ability to independently complete refinishing from prep through final clear coat.
• Strong knowledge of paint systems, color matching, blending, and finish correction.
• Hands-on experience with paint booths, HVLP spray guns, sanding, masking, priming, and paint application.
• Ability to meet daily production and turnaround goals without sacrificing quality.
• Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive painting and refinishing to dealership retail-ready quality standards.
• Complete spot repairs, blends, panel refinishing, and other paint repairs as required.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for refinishing (sanding, masking, priming, surface correction).
• Mix and match automotive paint according to OEM color specifications.
• Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using proper techniques.
• Operate paint booths, HVLP spray guns, sanding equipment, masking materials safely.
• Inspect surfaces to identify imperfections and ensure quality results.
• Maintain production quality within daily vehicle turnaround expectations.
• Keep paint equipment and work areas clean and organized.
