Job summary
Crunchyroll seeks a seasoned Deal Management Senior Analyst to manage contract data capture for Film/TV rights and royalties. You will set up and maintain rights and financial statements, track new deals, analyze data extracts, and drive process improvements across global reporting workflows.
The role requires strong analytical skills, reading and interpreting legal agreements, and experience with rights and royalties systems. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a related field are essential.

- Minimum 5+ years of work experience in digital media, rights management, legal, finance, accounting, or auditing.
- Ability to read and interpret legal agreements.
- Experience in rights, royalties and/or the entertainment industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain royalty calculations and deal templates in Crunchyroll systems to support accurate royalties reporting.
- Review and interpret legal agreements and related documentation.
- Register property codes for deal mapping.
- Participate in the review of rights and financial deal terms regarding acquisition agreements.
- Build analytical dashboards to enhance deal tracking and analysis.
- Research and reconcile costs and expenses at the deal level.
- Coordinate with internal business units to ensure timely contract execution and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide user support for automated royalties reporting systems as needed.
- Assist in maintaining and testing system templates to improve business processes.
- Track new products and maintain status reports to prioritize and expedite royalty reporting workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows from agreements to reporting.
- Drive continuous improvements of processes, documentation, and cross-training initiatives.
- Support asset registration and data management.

Crunchyroll is seeking a skilled Deal Management Senior Analyst with experience in contractual data capture, particularly in Film/TV rights and royalties. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining rights and financial statements in Crunchyroll systems, tracking new deals, researching contractual terms, conducting analyses on data extracts, and developing process improvements and best practices.
- Set up and maintain royalty calculations and deal templates in Crunchyroll systems to support accurate royalties reporting.
- Review and interpret legal agreements and related documentation.
- Register property codes for deal mapping.
- Participate in the review of rights and financial deal terms regarding acquisition agreements.
- Build analytical dashboards to enhance deal tracking and analysis.
- Research and reconcile costs and expenses at the deal level.

- Perform Term Deal maintenance and Stakeholder setup.
- Track new products and maintain status reports to prioritize and expedite royalty reporting workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows from agreements to reporting.

- Support asset registration and data management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience in digital media, a rights management, legal, finance, accounting, or auditing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret legal agreements.
- Experience in rights, royalties and/or the entertainment industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated rights and royalties systems is a plus (e.g., Rightsline, Alliant).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Solution oriented individual who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high volume environment and can think outside of the box.
- Excellent communication and people skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Word, and PowerPoint; advanced in Excel.
- Experience with system implementations and testing is a plus.
- Background in a large, global corporate environment is a plus.
