As a Deal Desk Manager at Snowflake, you'll work closely with our Sales organization to construct, review, approve, and negotiate business opportunities. You will also coordinate between Sales and other corporate functions during deal evaluation, negotiation, and closure. Additionally, you'll develop relationships across all levels of the company to support your deal functions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the Sales team, especially the Acquisitions Account Sales team, as a trusted advisor in deal construct and negotiation of complex transactions.
  2. Manage a 'book of business', collaborating with Sales VPs to track and support top deal negotiations.
  3. Coordinate information flow among groups such as Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Operations to facilitate the deal process.
  4. Ensure deal review and approval processes comply with company policies.
  5. Provide metrics and analysis on deal concessions to Finance and Sales leadership.
  6. Work with other departments to set and implement policies, processes, and procedures.
  7. Build internal relationships to facilitate the deal process.
Required Skills and Expertise:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in deal desk, finance, contracts, or sales operations.
  • Ability to understand and draft contractual business terms.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and US GAAP.
  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex ideas across organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Understanding of SaaS and Consumption business models.
  • Customer service orientation and a desire to support others' success.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • Experience with complex contract negotiations and long sales cycles.

The estimated salary range for this role is $124,000 - $173,200, plus participation in Snowflake's bonus and equity plans. Compensation will be based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, parental leave, and more.
