Position Overview

Iron Mountain is seeking a Deal Desk Coordinator for our Public Sector Deal Team. This role manages opportunities throughout the deal lifecycle—from initial intake to booking—ensuring efficient, accurate processing. The Coordinator will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Pricing, Operations, and Contracts teams to generate quotes and finalize orders. It’s a dynamic, impactful position requiring excellent organization, multitasking, and perseverance.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure alignment of Pricing, Product, Operations, and Contract processes with internal policies, especially for government and public agency clients.
  • Manage the entire deal process from proposal to booking, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding specific opportunities.
  • Assist with contract and quote creation using Salesforce, internal document repositories, pricing tools, and other platforms.
  • Monitor deal approvals and ensure documentation readiness for audits and processing.
  • Maintain organized records and support reporting on deal metrics and quote success.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance public sector deal support scalability.
Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, proposals, government contracting, or related administrative roles.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Professional, and preferably Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with public sector or government procurement processes is a plus.

Reasonably expected salary range: $73,400 - $91,800. Category: Sales Operations.
