Deal Desk Analyst:

In this role, you’ll support three key objectives: increase deal efficiency and effectiveness, improve business visibility and global consistency, and standardize deal terms while enforcing contracting minimum standards.

This individual contributor role will be a valuable partner and business liaison. You need to be well-versed in the company’s quote-to-booking process and all components necessary for a clean booking. Members of this group support the iMETA & APJ teams to ensure quotes and orders are accurate before final submission to Finance.

Responsibilities & Challenges:

  1. Accelerate deal cycles to close and maximize revenue by partnering with field teams on proposal building, pricing, quote generation, and opportunity management to structure profitable and compliant transactions.
  2. Review and enforce revenue recognition requirements using Salesforce and CPQ tools for quote compliance.
  3. Create and manage accurate quotes adhering to product and pricing guidelines.
  4. Assist with contract management, including NDAs and similar agreements.
  5. Ensure compliance with company pricing and discount policies.
  6. Manage review and completion of RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
  7. Act as a liaison between order management, revenue, sales ops, legal, and pricing to facilitate renewals.
  8. Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with departments to improve workflows and enablement.
  9. Support leadership as needed.
  10. Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Training, Professional Services, and Order Entry teams to meet order processing requirements with minimal delays.
  11. Obtain and document necessary approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms.
  12. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams via email, phone, or meetings.
  13. Process sales requests efficiently, especially during period-end deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Deal Desk role with a global sales team.
  • Experience with quoting and order processing.
  • Proficiency with CPQ tools and QTC process knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker with experience in complex, cross-functional pricing and proposals involving Sales, Legal, and Finance.
  • Understanding of contract management.
  • Effective communicator and positive team player across all management levels and departments.
  • Adaptable and supportive in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Collaborative in identifying system gaps and process improvements for workflow efficiency.
