Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to manage the Deafverse Career Connections study across multiple sites, coordinating engagement, participant logistics, data collection, and implementation support.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent research processes, oversee scheduling, consent procedures, incentives, accessibility needs, and documentation for successful study execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education, social science, rehabilitation, psychology, public health, research administration, program coordination, or related fields.
• Three+ years coordinating research studies, educational programs, or multi-site activities.
• Experience coordinating participants, sites, partners, or data collection activities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participating sites and partners; manage relationships and scheduling.
• Support recruitment, consent/assent processes, incentives, and accessibility needs.
• Oversee data collection with GRAs to ensure timely, complete, and protocol-aligned data.
• Facilitate implementation across sites, including schedules, dosage tracking, and fidelity documentation.
• Support participatory research and stakeholder engagement with deaf communities.
