Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH Teacher) for a part-time, in-person role at a Cypress, TX school for the 2026-27 school year.

You will provide instruction to a qualifying student, attend ARD meetings, and consult with school staff. This position requires TEA certification, a bachelor's degree in deaf education, and at least two years of related experience in educational settings for students with hearing impairments.

Qualifications

• Current TEA Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher Certification.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in deaf education from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities

DHH Teacher rates start at $47/hr
