Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college hours or passing score on the Para Professional Assessment of Knowledge and Skills Test.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification or obtain within 10 days of hire.
• Proficient in using Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication by translating spoken language into sign language.
• Assist the classroom teacher to provide services consistent with IEP goals.
• Interact with students to ensure safety and engagement.
