Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide specialized educational support to students with hearing loss. The ideal candidate will collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure students have access to the curriculum and can thrive in their educational environments.

Qualifications

Valid Louisiana Teaching Certification for Hearing Impaired/Deaf Education.
Experience working with students across a range of grade levels preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Support students in both general education and special education settings.
Develop and implement IEP goals related to hearing needs.
Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and services.
Monitor and support use of amplification and assistive listening devices.
Travel between schools within the district or assigned region.
