The Stepping Stones Group is hiring a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Sandwich/Plano/Oswego (IL) to join a dedicated team focused on transforming lives through specialized education. This full-time role centers on supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in inclusive school settings.

You will work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families to deliver tailored instruction, monitor progress, and promote communication, academic, and social development.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited program.
• Current Deaf or Hard of Hearing certification/endorsement.
• Valid state licensure.
• Experience working with children and adolescents (school-based preferred).

Mansioni

• Provide specialized instruction to Deaf or Hard of Hearing students in a school setting.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service staff to support student goals.
• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to promote communication and academic growth.
