Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time role. This position focuses on empowering students to develop communication, academic, and life skills, helping them thrive inside and outside the classroom.

You will work with a supportive clinical leadership team and participate in ongoing professional development, developmentally appropriate instruction, and collaborative planning with educators.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program required.
• Current Deaf or Hard of Hearing teaching certification/endorsement required.
• Valid state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
• Collaborate with families and school teams to support student progress.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance with district policies.
