Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a DEA Compliance Manager in South Carolina to lead regulatory alignment for substances under DEA oversight and to serve as the expert on controlled substances. The role includes developing procedures, maintaining records, coordinating reporting (ARCOS, YERS, quota), and acting as a power of attorney for registrations.

You will oversee inventory, support investigations, train staff, and ensure readiness for inspections while collaborating with environmental and regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and 3–5 years with controlled substances.
Experience with CFR 21 parts 11, 210, 211, and 1300.
Experience in GMP and pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain DEA compliance procedures.
Manage day-to-day DEA compliance operations.
Prepare documentation for DEA reporting (ARCOS, YERS, quota).
Maintain records for controlled substances and ensure secure storage.
Serve as power of attorney for DEA registrations.
Support staff training on DEA compliance.
Assist with inspections and investigations.
Collaborate with Environmental Affairs on waste disposal.
Improve tracking and reconciliation tools for compliance.
