Position Overview:

Truck drivers work on a crew or independently from a yard, delivering equipment and materials to and from job sites, and working onsite. They operate equipment including backhoes, excavators, plows, trenchers, or bore machines to install, remove, or maintain underground utilities and pipelines.

Essential Functions:
  • Ensure cargo is delivered safely and on schedule, with proper documentation.
  • Assist crews with labor-intensive tasks such as hand digging, equipment operation, fusion (if qualified), and cleanup.
  • Perform construction and maintenance duties related to the natural gas industry, demonstrating the necessary skills and physical ability.
  • Operate within a short time frame as needed, following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Load and secure materials or equipment for transport, and secure work sites at shift end to ensure safety.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 3 years of operating experience and knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Class A CDL with combination vehicle and air brake endorsements, a clean driving record, and current medical card.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work in a team, and willingness to travel and work long hours.
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations like traffic and weather conditions.
