Qualifications

• Knowledge of DBHDD provider service guidelines and changes as needed.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to stay focused and adapt to changing environments.
• Knowledge of security principles and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of behavioral health experience, crisis environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides a No-Force-First recovery environment.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of individuals.
• Observes individuals for significant changes and reports them.
• Develops natural supports and community living with guests to reinforce valued roles.
• Responds quickly to critical situations that may require Restrictive Interventions.
• Performs room safety checks and maintains clean, safe rooms.
• Completes clinical documentation as required.
• Understands and adheres to CPI standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
