Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Marlborough, MA invites applications for a Program Coordinator role to oversee day-to-day operations of a supported living program. You will ensure optimal coverage by scheduling staff and coordinating service plans, while upholding health, safety, and well-being standards for individuals served.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or Social Services, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities is required.
  • Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the program.
  • Develop and monitor the program schedule.
  • Coordinate with the team to facilitate activities, service plans and support staff with medical and medication protocols.
  • Provide goal-oriented supervision to Counselors; facilitate weekly staff meetings.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. They ensure there is optimum program coverage through developing and monitoring the program schedule as well as d evelop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served. The Program Coordinator will also coordinate with the team to facilitate and monitor the implementation of activities, service plans and support staff with medical and medication protocols.

Other Key Responsibilities
  • Provide goal-oriented supervision to Counselors
  • Facilitate weekly staff meeting, participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well being of individuals served.
  • Assist people to access, and/or provide, all needed transportation.

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or Social Services related field, or equivalent required. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities, required. Experience within human services field. preferred.
