Job description

RESPONSIBILITY:

Able to perform all the work of a DDC Installer I & II, plus the following: The DDC Foreman will work under general direction and is responsible for quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work as directed. Must have average computer skills, must be able to download databases to controllers, monitor system points, and must be able to commission RTUs and VAV controllers, using commissioning tools.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  1. Must have a working knowledge of the DDC systems used by CBC, Inc.
  2. Understand simple troubleshooting and moderately complex commissioning procedures.
  3. Knowledge of computers, HVAC, and typical DDC hardware.
  4. Troubleshoot, repair and make recommendations for improvements to existing control systems.
  5. Takes initiative to complete a project independently in an area where one has not been fully trained.
  6. Assists in commissioning all aspects of small to medium installation/retrofit projects.
  7. Performs planned maintenance service on a scheduled basis.
  8. Performs Planned Service Maintenance on assigned accounts.
  9. Interfaces with service/install customer in a professional manner.
  10. Identifies Service opportunities.
  11. Creates Service Work Orders.
  12. Completes all service paperwork in a timely manner.
  13. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
  14. Continues to develop more intermediate competencies in Preventative Maintenance and troubleshooting skills through computer training and application.
  15. Is highly organized, self-motivated and a team player.
  16. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb and work from ladder.
