Job summary

Engineered Cooling Services is seeking a DDC Controls Technician to join our team in Pelham, AL. You will perform preventive maintenance, start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting on commercial HVAC DDC controls, interfacing with customers and internal teams.

Experience with Siemens BACnet, Tridium AX/N4, Trane DDC, Distech or Honeywell systems is highly desirable; strong computer skills and excellent communication are required to deliver reliable building control solutions.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in the controls field.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC building control systems.
• Have and maintain a professional image.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Excellent communication skills.

As a DDC Controls Technician, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, customer interfacing, small project installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting / repair on commercial HVAC DDC controls. In this position you will establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers. ECS strives to provide the highest levels of performance, therefore training and support will be provided.

Knowledge of Siemens BACnet DDC Controls, Tridium AX & N4, Trane DDC Controls, Distech, Honeywell and HVAC Mechanical Systems highly desirable.
