Job summary

Engineered Cooling Services (ECS) seeks a DDC Controls Technician to perform preventive maintenance, startup, commissioning, and repair on commercial HVAC DDC controls, while interfacing with customers to uphold positive relationships.

Knowledge of Siemens BACnet, Tridium AX/N4, Trane, Distech, Honeywell and HVAC systems is highly desirable; ECS supports training and professional development, with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in the controls field.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC building control systems.
• Have and maintain a professional image.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC DDC controls.
• Interface with customers and manage relationships.
• Install small projects, start-up, and commissioning of DDC controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems as needed.

Position Description

As a DDC Controls Technician, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, customer interfacing, small project installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting / repair on commercial HVAC DDC controls. In this position you will establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers. ECS strives to provide the highest levels of performance, therefore training and support will be provided.

Knowledge of Siemens BACnet DDC Controls, Tridium AX & N4, Trane DDC Controls, Distech, Honeywell and HVAC Mechanical Systems highly desirable.
