Desert Cardiology & Vascular Center in Henderson, NV is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to thrive in a fast-paced cardiology setting. You will assist with vitals, medication lists, EKGs, stress tests and Holter setups, and document notes in the EMR with precision.

We value reliable, proactive team players with cardiology knowledge, strong typing skills (45+ WPM) and excellent communication. Bilingual candidates are a plus; CMA/RMA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as a Medical Assistant, cardiology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular terminology and procedures.
• Fast and accurate typist; 45+ WPM and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals, medical history, and medication lists.
• Assist with EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitor setups, and cardio procedures.
• Document clinical notes and provider dictations in the EMR.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
• Support providers during in-office procedures.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and ensure equipment is stocked and sterilized.
• Communicate with patients regarding test instructions, results, and follow-up care.
• Provide excellent customer service in a busy clinical environment.

• Accurately document clinical notes and provider dictations in the EMR system
