Job summary

Infinium Operations Texas, LLC is seeking an experienced Board Operator Technician to support operations at our Pecos, Texas eFuels facility. The role centers on safe, reliable plant control via a DCS/PLC interface, working with maintenance and engineering to ensure continuous production.

You will operate and monitor control systems, adjust variables to targets, manage alarms, and document shift activities while upholding EHS and LOTO requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or associate degree in Process Technology, Instrumentation, or Electrical disciplines.
• 5–8 years operating experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or similar environments.
• Minimum 3 years operating DCS or PLC systems (Honeywell, Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa, Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Strong understanding of industrial process systems and alarm management.
• Ability to troubleshoot control loops and process deviations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor DCS/PLC control systems to manage production, utilities, compression, and separation processes.
• Adjust process variables to meet production and quality targets.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions using established procedures.
• Maintain shift logs and ensure effective shift handovers.
• Coordinate with field technicians, maintenance, and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, environmental, permitting, and LOTO requirements.
• Support incident reporting, root cause investigations, and emergency drills.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, flow sheets, and control logic.
