Job summary
Air Liquide Large Industries in Houston, TX is seeking a Process Control Project Engineer to lead DCS modernization projects from scoping through handover. You will manage design, installation, commissioning and startup activities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on process control, automation engineering and project management.
- Experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA and field instrumentation in industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify control system architectures (PLCs, DCS, HMIs, SCADA).
- Lead FAT/SAT, coordinate with vendors, and oversee commissioning.
- Ensure safe construction, document as-builts, and provide startup support.
- Develop technical documentation like P&IDs and electrical drawings.
- Guide maintenance and operations during handover and training.
- Drive continuous improvement for safety, reliability and efficiency.
