Job summary

I2X Technologies seeks a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Engineer to support a DoD customer in Colorado Springs. The role is on-site and requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

The engineer will lead teams, develop DCO methodologies, and advise on cyber defense architectures. The position emphasizes threat assessment, secure design, and documentation to support mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of technical experience in cyber-defense or cyber security related fields.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience in container or virtual environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, AWS).
• Experience with data-analysis toolsets (e.g. Elastic, Splunk).
• Familiarity with agile frameworks for software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of DCO methodologies and present solutions to problems.
• Advise on technical design and implementation of DCO capabilities to protect, detect and respond to threats.
• Research cyber defense technologies and adapt them to mission needs.
• Document SOPs, guides, and diagrams to support DCO operations.
