Job summary

Sentry Force Security LLC is actively seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers to cover multiple client locations across the Hampton Roads area. Positions include office buildings, public facilities, and residential communities with permanent schedules and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior security, military, customer service, or public‑facing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass background screening and drug screening.
• Active DCJS registration preferred but not required for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and surrounding property.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols on foot or vehicle when required.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Assist visitors, residents, staff, customers, and vendors as needed.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Enforce client policies and site procedures professionally.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and emergency personnel.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment across assigned properties.
